I sware Jpop is like the Islam of Japanese music "convert or die" Soooo many awsome Jrockers went pop after thier bands disbanded, tis very very sad. though I like both Gackt and Klaha's solo worl ALOT so it's not all bad I guess ^-^

But of course! He's come out with one full album (Nostal lab) one maxi single (marchen) and one mini album (Setsubou) read the article on my site sillies! But at any rate, I think I love Klaha's solo work most of all the malice split-ees. His is so...strong, so hopeful for the future dispite set backs and misfortune, It gives the listener a feeling of peace. I have some samples up for download you know <3

Gackt did it all for the ladies! When you turn pop, and all lovey dovey "i'm going to right love songs, and write songs about my broken heart" you get a flock of fan girls swooning all over it like flies on poop! But gackt is a sekshi man! I love his solo efforts, to each their own right? I guess they just wanted to try and different musical image and not just be known as a j-rocker. But everyone has to love morning musume or DIE! >D

um...how about I love middle school musume backwhen they had Yuko in it, but at the same time Yaguuchi, Keii, Kago, Goto and all the rest.
Yeah I know most pop artists do that, in fact Klaha's songs are love songs and also about his broken heart, but they're GOOD lovey dovey songs damn it! xD

Klaha and Gackt pop are so different from what I'd expect pop to me. As I've stated to this person and that person... They are a poppy rockish or a rocky popish people. There are some songs of theirs I would not call pop unless that is to say "popular"

Well they've become "popular" in that they are now under the genre of Idol, there fore they are pop. xD Despite what they sound like heehee

True, I wouldn't call Gackt or Klaha real pop like Mini or Musume, but they're in the caterory due to the popularity of it.

Well they've become "popular" in that they are now under the genre of Idol, there fore they are pop. xD Despite what they sound like heehee Glay is pop. Haha. Jiro openly talks about being a "pop" star, and yet I consider them "rock" but as far as the REAL meaning of "pop" as in "Popular" then yes, they are and so is Gackt and so is Klaha but it doesn't make them crappy artists. I love Klaha's new stuff, surprising because I HATED Malice Mizer with him as the vocalist >> don't kill me.

Jpop conversion can be a good thing! When gackt left MALICE MIZER, he was straped for cash! Now he's rich, and his solo stuff is great!
