ok, this might end up being a fairly dead topic but...
have you noticed how difficult it is to buy anything from lesser known bands? yesasia has verry little of them, and to my knolodge, neither does CDJapan, or Jpophouse. jpophelp.com has some, but they are a little over priced compaired to the other sites. and its not jsut online! even in japan the normal cd shops didn't carry vk lables, or indies lables.
i feel bad always DL their stuff, but when its so difficult to find the music, how else will you hear it?

try somewhere like Third Stage or HMV. they carry indies and I think they ship overseas ^^ And yes it is nearly impossible to get stuff from really indie bands without having to pay double what is the cost of the item for shipping >.>;!! so I feel your pain

That depresses me. I've recently started getting into An-cafe and I can't find any of their CDs here in America. T_T Try the Mitsuwa if you live by one. I was at the Illinois one a few days ago and they didn't have any AnCafe, but then again I didn't look that hard either. You're most likely not going to find bands on independant Japanese labels here in America.

Mitsuwas usually has Taiwan releases, pretty good, but alas....An-cafe's CDs are out of my grasp for now T_T
Jpophelp.com cost me an arm and a leg last time I got a CD from them. I'll check around, but for now....I guess I'll stick to poking around Brand X's site.

Mitsuwa/Kinokuniya doesn't carry any indies cds. Last time I went, all I saw was major/old bands like Laputa, Dir en grey, X Japan/hide,Malice Mizer (rarely), Luna Sea. Oh they carry Miyavi though, if you guys want Miyavi.
Does anyone know if you ask real nice, would they order an indies cd?

well if you want to buy stuff from BLOOD, DuelJewel, DespairsRay, Camino, SID, or Psycho le cemu, there is always Jpophouse.com. (Not sure about the other cds they sell because they have been caught with bootlegs - but the ones they brought to America are all legit)

Brand X is a good one, but don't EVER go to JpopHELP.com because half the stuff (or more) they sell are either "overseas" edition (aka bootlegged) or burned on copies. Ugh, I couldn't even return my "DVD" stupid...........harihara@(#*@()*$!!

the thing about jpophelp.com is that you have to make sure the item number says something like JP or Japan eddition. or something relating to Japan, other wise it might be a bootleg. like, on their diru cds if you look at the big scans of their cds you can see someome of them being made by a bootleg company. usually the cheeper ones are bootleg.
just remember, if a price seems too good to be true, its probably fake.
