So which? I'm a bit torn though, See I first discovered Malice Mizer through Gackt's pop career (which was much better back in the day when he first started making music. He'd gotten really sappy as of late and his music is pretty boring) So I'll leave it up to you guys. Goth or Pop?

I loved both of them. <3 He's so great as a pop artist and as a gothic one. *sees if she can vote twice*....*fails* ...damnit...I guess he's better at pop. ^^;

I think he has his moods. He's pop as in "popular" and influential on the music world. He can still be really gothic even without all of the dark Malice aura about him.
It all has to do with his mood, because you can't take who is is out of him no matter what. Part of him is still Mizer... and that's all there is to it.

Pop.
I loved him in Malice. Adored him. But I really have to say I prefer him as a solo "media-influential" star.
I wouldn't mind seeing that vampiric one adorning a bit of old style again - but I like his music as it is (most of it), so, nyah. Pop.

well, i don't know... being goth isn't something about the looks... otherwise everyone wearing black and makeup would be goth, ne? gackt is whatever he wants to be, he has the money to be whatever he wants, i wish i could do the same too.

Lets just call him a mood ring. Feeling poppy today? break out the new stuff. Feeling gothic? Turn back the years a bit. Honestly, he's really doing us quite a service. And who knows, in theTEXT few hundred years we might see punk Gackt, hip-hop Gackt, countr-no wait, that would be bad....
