*spazzity*
Warning: I swear a lot in this. That's because I swear a lot when I get spazzy. I can fix it if it's a problem.
Okay, I'll start at the beginning.
So basically, if you get a specific wristband you get to "meet" Dir en grey. In other words, shake hands with two of the members of Dir en grey. You get the wristband by buying their shit. I bought an autographed copy of Withering to death, Vulgar, and their new single. (Later I also bought The Code of Vulgar[ism]) I got three wristbands, but I only needed one.
After Dir en grey finished playing, I was so exhausted from the heat and lack of water, I was really ready to pass out. I got to steal water and ice from the beer stand, then I got better.
It took us awhile to find the place where people were meeting Diru, but we eventually found it by following a whole shitload of people with Diru wristbands. it was in some obscure place I didn't even know existed. O.o;
We waited for like an hour, and the line was HUGE. I was jumping up and down with this knot in my stomach, like HOFUCKINGHELLISTHISREALLYHAPPENINGHOLYFUCKINGHELL . . . the line was fucking long as fuck. (I say fuck a lot when I spaz.)
Then they got there and the line went by REALLY fast, and the only thing that was going through my mind was, "Make eye contact, and smile, make them like you." And I pretty much did that except I spaced out, I don't remember anything about shaking hands with Die except that I smiled at him and he kind of smiled back. I had a pansy handshake with Shinya . . . Oh my fucking God his hands are amazing. They are so long and thin, like an elongated woman's hand or something. And they are amazingly soft.
Shinya is fucking beautiful.
And as I got out of line, the reality of what I did hit me and I almost started crying. We stood outside of the line and just watched them shaking hands with people and I was just trying not to cry, and I think when Shinya got up to leave he noticed me. (I seem to remember him looking right at me.) And when people who are amazingly amazing like that look at me, I run away. Remember that for future reference in this post. And basically, I felt like I could die happy at that point. It was the most amazing thing that ever happened to me and I was ecstatic.
So later, our ride ditched us (we were outside the venue while he was watching Korn, and at the end of the concert he just disappeared into thin air and stop answering his cell phone). And we were mad at first because, obviously, how the fuck were we going to get back? We tried calling a cab and we got an answering machine. And Jocelyn tried calling a bunch of people and none of them answered . . . we were wandering around for awhile and so okay.
A tiny way off from the entrance to the pavilion is a service road that was for some reason full of semis. O.o It was odd. Anyway, next to that service road was a fenced-off parking lot. (The fence was, like, 8 feet or something high.) Grace saw fire. And was intrigued.
Me: Fire! Lessgo!
And people were like barbequeing or some shit. I was like, meh.
Jocelyn finally got ahold of a friend who would give her a ride so we started wandering again while we were waiting for her and I realized that from that same place there was music coming from it.
Me: Wuzzat?
Jocelyn: Meh.
Me: I wanna know! Lessgo!
Us: *walk down service road*
Security guard: What are you doing, waiting for a ride?
Us: Yeah.
Security guard: Turn around and wait out by the road then. (Or something like that . . . >.>
Us: Okay. *turn around and go back*
A little while later, we tried an alternate route to the fenced-in parking lot, which is between a mini-forest (like 5 feet wide) and the fence, and we were hiding in the trees. There were a bunch of people gathered around a tent.
Jocelyn: Dude . . . is that Toshiya?
Me: What? Where?
Jocelyn: ZODRFMAIOVNAWERKLFHNAWEIO It's Toshiya!
Me: Where? I don't see him!
*two minutes later*
Me: ZOMFG TOSHIYA!
So we decided to go back down the service road. Paranoid because the mounted police were walking around, but still tried to look cool. We got to like a little driveway cementy thing that connected the service road with the parking lot (except that you couldn't drive through it because there was a fence there >.> and some stuff happened.
Jocelyn: ZOMFFNGIOAERNG It's Die!
Grace: ZOMFWDRNVIOAWERVNASKLJFSKLFNDFKL NWERIOFN DIE! *spaz*
It was basically a party type thing with a bunch of people from the bands and their friends or specially privileged people. Or something . . . >.<
My heart was racing like crazy. So naturally we got out our cameras and started waiting for him to not have his back to us so we could take pictures. And that we did. Sneakily. He was on the other side of the fence, it took awhile for him to notice that we were there. But dude, seriously, he was like RIGHT NEXT TO THE FENCE. And then Toshiya came out again, but slightly further away. We gradually made our way up to standing RIGHT by the fence and I continued taking pictures like mad clicky whore, and every time I took one I got paranoid and ran several feet away being terrified of being noticed.
Toshiya was pretty drunk, methinks, or at least he was acting like it. It was adorable. And he was hanging out with the vocalist from 10 Years (I think . . . Jocelyn thinks it might have been the guy from Korn though. Whoever he was, he had dreads.) who was really drunk and hanging all over him, it was freaking adorable.
And Die speaks mucho goodo Engrish, dude. And he has the most amazing smile. He was really talking to a lot of people (he even got them to clink their bottles together and go "Kampai!" Me: SQUEE!!!!!!!!!!! KAMPAI!!!!) and Jocelyn says that he randomly just started talking to this little boy, he was probably 8-10 years old or something. <3 I was just swooning, and my heart was beating so hard and fast I thought I would pass out or something. It was crazy.
Some guy from Bury Your Dead noticed us and talked to us, like, "What are you doing?"
Me: Spying.
Jocelyn: Watching that guy. *points to Die, whose back is turned*
Guy: Man, that guy is awesome . . . blahblahblah laud laud laud. *walks away*
And anyway . . . it was a really long time that we were eye-stalking and paparazzi-fying Die. (Because he was so close to the fence and Toshiya was all back farther behind other people.) There were times that he was leaning on the fence and I wanted to poke him (because that's what I do), and then attempt to tickle him while asking him if he's ticklish. (Because that's another thing I do.) That's how close he was.
And our ride came and found us and we were basically, "We love you, but . . . we ain't going nowherez yo." So she just sat and waited for us.
And at some point Jocelyn was all "dawnvioawengfklasdhfjilsdnvwehi Toshiya smiled/waved at me!" And I was all "SDANVIOAWVNIASEEFJ I HATE YOU!!!!"
And I continued to take pictures and run away. By this point my disposable camera had run out of film and I was using Jocelyn's, which I couldn't not stop from flashing every time I took a picture, and I pretty much took a picture every time Die didn't have his back turned. So he pretty much noticed.
And at some point, he fucking looked at me and smiled.
Now many people don't know this, but I'm just about the shyest person ever. I'm loud, but shy. Especially with untouchable people who are infintely better than me and I close to worship. I didn't want to seem like a dumbass and run away, so I just sort of tried to smile. . . or something, I don't remember exactly what I did, but it was one of the hardest, scariest things I ever did. You have no idea. >.<;;;;;;;; It felt like it lasted forever, but it was probably only about 10-15 seconds which is still a fucking long time. And at some point soon after that (I was still giddy, so I don't remember exactly how it went after that), he turned toward us . . . we had probably been there over a half hour by then.
Die: What are you doing? (smile)
Me: Spying. *drowned out by Jocelyn*
Jocelyn: We're looking at you. *points stupidly at "I heart Kyo" wristband*
Die: Oh. Kyo is asleep. (smile) Try next time.
Jocelyn: When is next time? When are you coming back?
Die: (smile) . . . "Kyo is.. Kyo.." *gets ripped away by random guy to take lame ass picture*
And yeah.
He was so nice, and I was like SQUEE!!!!!!! But he probably was only nice to us and talked to us so we would go away and stop taking pictures of him. >.<;
But I'm definitely finding my way to the party after the Wisconsin show . . . this had made me even more determined to go to it, even if all we can get/can afford are lawn seats. Which really aren't that bad, or they weren't at this venue anyway.
Oh, and I also got the most fascinating sunburn because I was wearing a fishnet shirt. Pictures will be posted as soon as I am able.

Just a little.
Sorry about the longness of the post.
