Manson and hide were friends, it's true. I've never heard anything about either one of them suing eachother though.
How do I know this you ask? Two reasons. On my ZILCH 3.2.1 CD 9hide's American band), Manson's name is listed in the special thanks section and 2, on the "his invincible deludge evidence" DVD hide goes in to a record store, picks up a Marylin Manson VHS, points to it, says something about knowing Manson (it's in Japanese and I'm far from fluent) and buys it. He also buys a Stone Temple Pilots CD. This footage was taken only a month before hide died so I doubt the law suit rumors are true.
